Lady Bird did many wonderful things on the More Beautiful Capital Committee and Highway Beautification Act. With adding beauty to roadsides with plants, flowers and trees to beautify America. She loved wild flowers so much that she founded the National Wildflower Research Center in 1982. A quote from her “Where Flowers Bloom so Does Hope”.

I did not know much about her really until lately. I think she was a very attractive, elegant and strong woman that I now admire even more. I really like her and she has earned my respect and admiration. She has such interesting, kind, warm energy to her is what made her a special first lady. Known as the Environmental First Lady she loved nature and made others learn about how important conserving the environment is. Looking at pictures of her she looked beautiful even at older age.
