Independent truck drivers are striking about high diesel fuel prices. I think that is a good thing. Will it make difference to be honest I don’t think it will. It will get attention for a day but will it change anything no. I don’t think so that is a sad thing because no one cares in America. Even the news coverage about the trucker strike no mention of it this morning. I think everyone needs start complaining about these prices. These truckers have to pay higher prices it makes higher prices on everything else too. 
What has happened to people now that just except that we are getting screwed by these prices. Why should we except these prices in the first place. I totally support what they are doing with this strike. It is about time someone starts really complaining about these high prices. Thank you truck drivers for taking a stand it is good thing you are doing.

I think when the truck drivers go on strike, then companies may start to lose profits since they do not have any drivers making deliveries

Two things here: Number one, not only should the government free up the strategic oil reserves and get a handle on the fuel help not reaching the truckers who are actually purchasing the fuel themselves, but they should stop exporting gasoline and oil bi-products to Mexico! Mexico is not in a mood to allow us to drill there, so why should we give them our gas?
Number 2: I personally feel the government is attempting to force independent truckers out of business, so they can run alien drivers through our country to and from Canada and Mexico, thereby leaving out the American citizens as workers in every aspect, not just trucking, but warehousing, etc. Our Teamsters are building the pipe line from Alaska to Louisiana. Do you really believe there will be work for them after it is built? Stick together on this strike, or one by one you will all drift away to "better jobs" and leave your American dreams behind.
Jami, Nice move. I also support the independent truck drivers. Its these guys who will feel the heat of rising fuel prices most. Companies have other financial backups for support.
We would like to declare our support for strike against fuel prices going up. The administrators have to look into this issue and make the fuel prices under control.
What about the oil prices now, to those who have made shout to reduce the prices? Is it a acceptable one or not?
